In response to the turbulence and uncertainty in the early days of the US-Iran conflict, Wallis worked closely with leadership at Alserkal and Alserkal Avenue to build a response that put audiences and Alserkal’s diverse creative communities at its heart.
The programme ran from the launch of Blank Space, an initiative designed to support independent artists and collectives, to Déjà Vu, an exhibition showing artists from 20 galleries to introduce new audiences to a world of collecting.
